Tour Reviews
Baraka is wildlife whisperer! Tracked African wild dog pack for hours until we found adorable pups playing. His understanding of animal behavior patterns let him predict exactly where that elusive leopard would emerge from thicket. Every shot in my camera tells story of his incredible expertise. This specialized wildlife experience made all my photography dreams reality.
Came specifically for Big Five and guide Ally delivered beyond expectations! Day one started with massive bull elephant in Tarangire – closest I’ve ever been to something so powerful yet peaceful. His wrinkled skin and gentle eyes will haunt me forever in the best way.
Ngorongoro crater was Big Five paradise. Ally’s expertise showed when he spotted the elusive black rhino near the hippo pool – apparently they’re incredibly rare there. The way he explained rhino behavior while keeping respectful distance was masterful. Lion pride with cubs came next, lounging under acacia trees like they owned the world (which they do!). Patrick knew exactly when lioness would start hunting – positioned us perfectly for the stalk.
Buffalo herd crossing the crater floor was thunderous. Hundreds of them moving like black river through golden grass. Ally explained their complex social dynamics while we watched massive bulls protecting the group. Final Big Five member was stunning leopard in Serengeti – took three hours of patient tracking but Ally never gave up. Found her perfectly camouflaged in fever tree, just her spotted coat visible against the bark.
This wasn’t just animal spotting – it was wildlife education at its finest. Ally’s knowledge of animal behavior, migration patterns, and conservation efforts made every sighting meaningful. Seven days of pure Big Five magic. Already booking next year!
Most romantic experience of our lives! Guide Simon surprised us with champagne setup overlooking endless Serengeti plains – wasn’t even planned! His expert driving through challenging terrain was impressive. Pride of 12 lions lounging in afternoon shade was unforgettable sight. Cold camp showers couldn’t dampen our joy. Perfect honeymoon start surrounded by Africa’s incredible wildlife.
3-day safari was geweldig! Our guide was super aardig and professional – regelde everything perfectly plus veel more than expected.
The guide found out about our anniversary and surprised us with romantic dinner!! Not in our package at all. No Dutch-speaking guide which was thoughtful (though our English is fine lol).
Very direct communication, fair prices, genuine care. Already told our friends in Amsterdam about her. Small thing – camp coffee was bit weak for our taste but hey, we’re coffee snobs 😅
Dank je wel Furaha – see you next time!
